If the company is willing to answer some of the questions about American Lifan that keep coming up, it should go a long way to clear up much of the confusion that has persisted, at least on this board. Thanks for the post, Kato, I'm sure many here will be interested.

Not many registered users yet, but I thought others would like to know it exists.

I am surprised the Shawn hasn't posted anything here yet about it.

I don't know Shawn much, but they banned him from the lf200 website forum for some reason 8O

Anyways yes, that new A.L. site looks really good, it even has a dealer report card section which is nice.

Hey Hey Hey... That wasn't nice!

Shawn IS NOT Banned from The Yahoo LF200GY Group. TeamCheap/Mike here owns that Group, I'm the only other Moderator there. Shawn did ask me months ago to remove him and I told him NO. If I removed him I would have to go back through all of The Spammers that I ban and remove the ban to let him back on. I told him if he didn't want to be there to just remove his membership and he did not.
Shawn doesn't post there because there are a couple of bad apples there that think they know everything about everything. He got sick of hearing all of the BS.
I have not ever banned a member from that group. I have warned a couple people about there language and ripping on other members but I currently have not banned any members. The only other thing I do is remove members that have Hard Bouncing and their e~mail accounts are closed and Not accepting e~mail any longer. See yahoo sends a confirmation to their account and then receives back whether the account is still open, if the account is closed then I remove them after 6 months of Hard Bouncing.
Now to set The Record Straight... Shawn & I are both Banned from The LF250 Yahoo Group.

No, you didnt do anything wrong... I'm laughing about Simon's comment about {The LF250 Yahoo Group}!!!

I just wanted to clear up what Jim had heard about The LF200GY Yahoo Group, that and so everyone had a complete understanding of what i do there as a moderator.
*****Thanks again Everyone that backs me up on this group!!! *****

I was going to post about The New American Lifan forum but ya beat me to it! That's a good thing at least I know there is still support out there!

I don't think you stepped on anyone's toes. Yes there is more information here but this forum has been up a lot longer too. Frosty is welcome there too! The forum isn't there to beat anyone up... it's there to help as the same reason that Frostbite put this one here. This will help American Lifan determine flaws, make better products etc. etc. I don't have to keep going to them to tell them what people are saying and what to make better. That takes time out of my day too. They need to update a lot for us dealers... better parts Fiche & pricing, better parts ordering system, service manuals and I could keep going. The outlook from the general public should help tremendously!!!
