I also solved the fender issue. Pushing the forks down to flush and adding fork oil stiffened up the suspension so the fender doesn't hit the tire. You can check out my video on that on my youtube channel.

So how do you change the hawk's fork oil? Is it as easy as changing the motor oil?

Really easy. Remove the Allen bolt from the bottom of the fork and let oil drain out. Once empty replace bolt and take off the bolt on top of fork. Measure your fork oil out to appropriate amount and pour into fork. Then replace bolt. Super simple.

Nice, thanks man!! Type of fork oil important? Also how much would you suggest for a 220 pounder riding mostly on the road(who really hates bumps and pot-holes)

You could start with 150ml and see how you like the stiffness of the forks. If you want it stiffer you can always add more.
