best ATV for 10 year old
I am looking for a cheap ATV to get for my son. What is the best deal out there? I am assuming the mid size 125cc would be the best bet. I see these for ~800$ but if there is something better for ~1000$ I would be willing to spend more.
He is just going to ride it in woods behind our house. Nothing technical or wet. |

I'd send a pm to Adam at RPS, they have some good ones and he's a pretty strait from the shoulder guy. BTW, congrats on your fatherly instincts !

Yes, But I am guessing my 8 year old will be in a mid size longer. I figured one for now that they can share and maybe get a full size for my oldest in a few years. But I need to get the wife on board with that plan.

I would go for one like this with a GY6 engine.

Good selection here and I'm guessing you don't need to deal with C.A.R.B. Approval...

I went to a local place that sells the Tao Tao ATVs and I was surprised that even the 150 looked sized close for my 8 year old. Now to decide what to get.

They should be able to sit on the seat with arms bent and able to push the handles both directions. When they stand on the pegs there should be clearance there also.
Also may sure they can operate the brakes.

I got my 8 year old boys the Tao Tao T-Force 125cc quads. They are plenty big for them to grow into yet still small enough for them to control. They love them and when its time to upgrade, I may be able to get most of my money back from these on Craigslist!!
