w0ss is sending me his.
Nothing happened to mine, I just need one to gut the cat out of and weld in a bung for a wideband O2 sensor. I plan on gutting both the one w0ss sends and mine, but, only one with the bung. Once the jetting is fine tuned, I plan on selling the whole wideband O2 kit (including the header pipe) for a little less than I paid for everything and hope each person to dial their carb in does the same so that every one of us has access to the wideband kit for very little $$ once they've sold it to the next person. So far, this is the least expensive kit I've found. Can any of you do better? http://www.ebay.com/itm/272045926152 |

PC, that's pretty cool! A person could just plug the bung when the sensor is not needed, leaving the door open for future mods.
I bet your good friend Humanbeing could find a China version of the wideband kit.

A person could, but, I don't plan any future mods that would need it. Even if I did do a future mod, I could always buy the kit back.

So has anyone got a lead on the gas tank? Mine broke the weld, and if they won't give me one under warranty I will need a replacement. Would the crf230 tank work?

Take it to a Pro
Eldric,
Any professional welder and even non pros can weld that crack up again, after proper draining and drying. Been there done that, once had to weld 10 inches between the two halfs of a harley tank to increase capacity for a VW trike. I will ask this here since it is probably relevant to the OP. Is there a larger aftermarket fuel tank for the hawk? I know the stock is a decent size but still would like a bigger one.

I sent pictures to the place I got it from. Hopefully they will send a replacement. If not I have a guy who can weld it. Bike only has a little over 700 miles. Was a pretty decent trip until that happened.
