QLINK adds d/s Qingqi model
QLINK has added the Qingqi-built dual sport model XP200 to their web site/2008 model line up. This is in addition to the XF200 supermoto model they previously announced.
http://www.qlinkmotor.com/product.php?id=57 Not an owner or dealer, not affiliated with QLINK or Qingqi in any way. Just thought some of you might be interested. Best, TCS |

If you check out the Qlink site, they added a few more products beside the dual sport, including a 400cc scooter, a 500 and 700cc ATV, and a 500 and 700cc side by side.
As far as their dual-sport, it should make for a good bike, but is priced in the mid $2k range, and their supermoto went up by $500!! from $2100 to $2600. I sure hope the bikes hold up in quality to justify costing that much!

This is the bike Cazy Carl wrote about:

i'm sorry but if i'm gonna pay over $2000. for a china bike i'll find a used jap bike. i'm not speaking blindly here i have seen/rode lifan and q-link and when you compare them to a used jap bike at the same price i take the jap bike just my opinion.

yeah, Pumpkin, I was tempted when the XF200 was $2095 MSRP, but now its over $500 more. The closest dealer in San Diego, and the dealers nationwide on Cycletraders, don't seem to advertise under MSRP for any of the Qlink bikes other than the classic-style cruiser, the Legend 250. Chinese bikes are supposed to be a better deal than Japanese bikes, which they generally are brand new, but you are correct in that mid-$2k with no room for negotiation, is a little steep for a Chinese bike vs. a used big brand bike. Have you ridden the new Qlink XF200?

That is a high price for a Chinese bike...I probably would look for a nice used bike also.

culcune, i have only rode SamM's Q-Link and my Lifan. i sat on alot of lifans at the dealership but as far as riding goes those are the only two. i must say though on quality the q-link is a step up from my lifan, but as sam said in another getting parts is a necessity especaly for these china bikes.so i'm glad i opted for the lifan.[/b]
