Typical push rod fitted w/ "8" (88.6 mm) http://mall.mxjidian.com/?de=goodsdetail,gid--100030
---
U can upgrade it (NEEDS dc-cdi since no source coil & a NEW reg/rec that can handle that output) w/ (88.6 mm) http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=35665374527 Some newer bike are fitted w/ 93mm stator, that's another animal

To the extreme http://ray-chi.tw/bbs/forum.php?mod=...tid=469&page=1 Re-wound it by yourself guide
Key points:
Higher temp enameled wire http://www.pewsc.com/news/p3p4.pdf . 0.65mm wire * 75-80 turns at each pole (300-320 turns each phase). Oh no... it's 3-phase (900+)!!!

gonna revive this thread seeing some other stator questions floating about on the forum.... i am wondering, since the 12 coil ones would require a dc rec and cdi, what about an 11 pole? what sort of output would those have?

like this- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atv-Quad-Go-...2afveg&vxp=mtr

also, just gonna throw this out there since HB mentioned it, would this be a drop in as well? would it fit the case ok? and would it need dc cdi? also with switching to dc cdi, would it need rewired in the harness?

93 mm stator https://world.taobao.com/item/36070825221

1.21 gigawatts, but you'll have to be doing 88 miles per hour.

LOL!!!!!! i could use that... when i flip on both my projectors my voltage at the battery drops to 12.1-11.9v... LOL let alone when i flip the high beams on and the two cutoff solenoids kick on.. then it drops to 11.1ish....LOL

on the 93mm stuff, you think If the flywheel was swapped out for a 93mm flywheel as well as the stator it would work HB? I'm needing a good bit more charging capability...LOL

Yup...Flywheel outer Ø is SAME btw 8? & 9? series
===
88.?mm stator = Ø 90.?mm flywheel <same principle> 93 stator = Ø 95 flywheel

then the only question is if the system would be ac or dc for the cdi, and if the bikes wiring will need changed to make it work?
