Has anyone dealt with txpowersports.com for warranty issues. Just curious if it's a hassle and should just buy the parts myself.

I had a bad blinker module and I sent them an email and got a replacement. It took a week and a half to get to me though. I ended up buying one myself and had it much quicker.

Not sure what parts you are talking about, a new CDI is under 10 bucks. My guess is you have a loose connection. My hawk had a loose wire plug feeding the coil which brought about intermittent running and no start issues. Once that was remedied, the bike was good.

Adjust your valves, most hawks have arrived too tight, this can lead to hard starting IME.
