CL ripoffs are fun to watch. I'll flag the egregious ones sometimes.
On the bicycle forum I visit, there is a longstanding thread with thousands of posts dedicated to this very topic ;-)

What if he got a 2 or 4 pack for under $1,100 each bike, a couple hours assembly time on each bike, couple minutes to type up a CL add, and get a quick $980 profit off each bike sold (figure $20 or less for engine and fork oil, brake fluid, grease, dielectric grease, threadlocker on each bike)

I am not sure why you guys are busting the guys balls ,since you know it's overpriced then just move on ,the people who don't know it's overpriced will buy it ,and when it's time to sell yours it will be worth more because of this guys inflated $2100 .00 bike .He is doing you a favour ,unless of course you want to buy his bike .

I didn't bust his balls too bad. I just can't imagine in this day and age when you have all the information you need just from a decent smart phone people will over pay for things. I don't blame the guy for making a buck, I just think it's funny. |

I would say the Qlink is somewhat reasonable. They aren't available anymore (except for the high priced SSRs) and are still considered one of the gold standards of CBs.

for many people that live in an apartment or just do not have the skills to put one together, that could be the only choice they have, if you did not know the price in advance, $2100 is not a bad price for a ready to ride brand new bike
