No it all at attached with the included straps. It's hard to explain but I connected the tail bag under the tail light the saddle bags to the tail bag and passenger peg mounts.

I've been looking at getting this cargo rack for my Hawk. I think it could be modified to fit.

A bit pricey but obviously a really nice piece with the bag supports too! Heck. four holes and you'd be in!

If you can live with chrome, this would probably fit (6" x 8") and the price is right.

Yeah that's why I was considering this one, because of it's simplicity to mount. The reason its so expensive is cuz its a billet cut on a CNC. Here's one on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A3CBOENYW5IAEC

Thank you for the links. That is going to be a big help later. But i did have a question. Did you get the combo deal in your first link or did you get the saddle bags from the one link and the top bag from the other?
