Any ideas why the ATV is hard to start now and it backfires through the carb too. Since I switched to the Mikuni carb it's not as reliable compared to the Keihin carb. Pilot is 25 and main is 110 with 1.75 turns out on the mixture screw and needle clip on the 4 highest slot.
Thanks guy's, asking cause I know you guys are more well versed amd knowledgeable in these quads and bikes. |

BTW the front and rear sprocket made a huge difference in being able to lug it around with out feathering the clutch at low speeds. And climbing hills too.
Darth, I too had to chase the threads and clean out the splines too. And had to run a file over both ends of the sprocket retainer to clearance the chain rollers. Other than that, way less involved compared to the rear lol. |

Good to hear it went well and you hit it prepared. Really wish the Rhino came with the torqued up sprockets. It is a utility ATV after all. Mine officially is now.
I'm not to good with the engine stuff... Hopefully 2LZ will pop in here... he seems real good with that sort of thing. Sure some of the others here can help you too with the Mikuni ins and outs. I'm all eyes and learning on the fly at this point. |
