Clutch Adjustment
Has anyone done this on the RX3 yet?
My clutch lever has some play, so I want to tighten things up. Any help would be great! |

It's adjustable at both ends. If you just want to adjust free-play, use the gnarled adjuster on the lever.

I've done mine a few times. I'm smaller with small hands so I wanted the control of the friction zone to not require my hands to be almost all the way open. the adjuster on the bars was already all the way closed so I adjusted the position of the metal tube down on the engine to loosen up the clutch and then did the fine adjustments up on the bar adjuster. This allowed for much more play in the lever than is called out in the manual but by playing with the adjuster on the bar I was able to get full disengagement and engagement in a shorter lever throw which works great for me. So just make sure that whatever your goal is on the adjustment to make sure the disengagement and engagement are complete in the throw you want so you don't have clutch drag or slipping at both ends. It's a very fine amount of adjustment for that.

Just make sure you have plenty of free play as to insure full clutch engagement.
