If you plan on removing the catalytic converter also drill a few holes in the baffle. I drilled four 3/4" holes in mine to help it flow better. I plan on putting a larger diameter tail piece and spark arrestor.

Just curious, what main jet and slow speed jet does the Brozz come with? The Hawk came with a 98 main and 20 slow speed. But the main jet won't have anything to do with cold start. The proper idle mixture, slow jet size and needle position will. Bashan may have done a better job at tuning idle mixture.

But they both use clones of a Honda engine design. Ergo most of the mods would probably crossover due to being essentially the same engine other then the fact one may be counter balanced and one may not be. But the vast majority of them seem to be the Non counter balanced.

And by tweaking this bike I doubt seriously I will shorten its life.

So be it a Hawk or a Brozz the same principals apply. So if it breaths better I will need to rejet it not a big deal.

I've done just the normal mods (pod filter, carb, proper jetting and muffler) to most of my CG motors and it makes them much more crisp, for sure. I have no dyno number for those though. It would be nice if we had someone here with a dyno, as we did in the past.

Nice looking bike but I don't see any dirt, that must be the before picture. Just a thought, you could play hockey with the same helmet...

I got this bike more for riding the street with occasional trail riding. I did not get it for dirt biking The tires are not up to it.
