Hi, all new Hawk rider in Northeast PA

I've had the hawk since last summer, bought it with 6 miles on it from a kid that completely botched the assembly. Sat around the garage until recently I finally got around to getting it roadworthy and by some miracle road legal in PA this past week. I've had several bikes in my time and currently also have a 09 ninja 650 and 84 virago 700 in the stable. My wife is going for her MC license this week and the hawk has served well as a practice/test mule. I've never been one to keep things stock so we'll see how this thing ends up.

-Jeff

Welcome! Sounds like me, you got one of these as a second (or third in this case) less serious, more fun, mule with which to tinker with and have a bit of fun.

Have any pictures of that Virago? I had one about 8 years ago, and I really liked it while I had it.

The virago, ninja and 71 cb350 I built that recently went to a new home. No pics of the hawk just yet.

Ahh, I almost forgot how sofa like the Virago seats were lol. That was a nice old CB350 too, looks like a scrambler-esque build.

Thanks for the compliments. I actually got the cb350 thrown in for another $100 when I bought that virago. It sat in the guys basement since the early 80's. It was by no means a full resto but was a neat little machine when I was done. I just couldn't get over the suspension and was going to have to really put some serious dollars into it for me to be truly happy with it. It's also hard justifying 4 bikes for one person with your second child otw at the time.
