Lower Fork Covers for Hawk
Anyone know if there is a fork cover that will best fits a Hawk?
I have been searching for a pair of the Brozz fork covers but can't find them for sale. |

Measure the width of top tube and lower tube. After that it is the length you need for your bike. They are called fork boots or gaiters.

I'm talking about the piece that goes outside of the fork made of plastic or carbon fiber.
Kind of like a shield for the front of the fork. Gaiters is not what I'm looking for. |

You generally don't see them on traditional forks, because there is nothing there to protect. The biggest, strongest part of the fork is at the wheel, and the seals face up and away from the path of most debris. Instead, traditional forks use gaiters to perform the same function.

Brozz has them on the fork and I just like that look. That's the only reason why I'm looking to install them on my hawk.

Those plastic fork guards will not work with standard forks. They would have to attach the lower tubes and break on the bottom of the fender. On inverted forks they travel down toward the axle and don't have anything to run into.

My apologies for how the pics are displayed but I can't figure out how to correct it. I drilled a hole on the inner side of the cover and attached it using the screw that holds the bracket for the speed sensor & front brake line. I also used zip ties on the lower part of the cover to hold on to the bottom of the fork so that I can avoid any vibration. It is working fine so far.Yay!!

Your welcome. You have the same philosophy that I have. There's no such word as the word 'Can't" Anything is possible if you put your mind to it.

4 days since I installed them and no problems at all, even after running into some nasty potholes they held up perfectly.
