What available in the big scoots 250-400cc
Since it is getting colder I have been thinking that having a fairing and windshield would be nice.
A Honda helix caught my eye and I thought it would be nice except the price. A coworker has a yamaha majesty 400 and commutes about 60 miles a day on it year round. Been getting pretty cold in the morning on the gy, but I have been dealing with it. Just a thought right now. Allen This one looks just like the helix. http://atlanta.craigslist.org/mcy/450103689.html

this one is pretty cool looking, it's got the look of a honda reflex the windshield would definitely be a big plus for cold weather riding |

Nice looking too. The helix styling is very 80s.

I can't vouche for the quality of the bike, but the dealer is not a fly-by-night ebay fraud. If you had the money to burn, and really wanted a scooter, this might not be such a bad deal. Heck, being a 250, you could ride the thing home from Texas!

I don't have the money to burn, but it would be fun to make that ride.

This scoot looks like the Roketa MC54-B
If you like this scoot I would suggest getting it thru here: Valley Scooters
http://www.scootersus.com/index.html They have been highly recomended on the ScootDawg forum. http://scootdawg.proboards59.com/index.cgi#general I sent them a message via there web site on Saturday asking some questions about under seat storage, and the seat height.. Was very suprised to get a call from them Sun morn. We chatted for about 20 min or so. You could also look at the Aleos 300. Little more $$ and you lose the trunk, alarm, remote start, and radio. But it is a 275cc motor, and is assembled by Linhai/Yamaha completely... the quality is supposed to be very good. I like the Roketa better.. and the folks that have got one on ScootDawg seem happy with them I would post any additional Q''s there.. as they are very friendly.. and have LOTS AND LOTS of experience with the Chinese scoots. I bought a new mc-13 250. i replaced the fuel lines and filter with better quality.(fuel filter was leaking) replaced some missing bolts and did a check over. changed oil with amsoil. only rode it a couple of times so far but seems to be pretty decent so far. bought it in mansfield ohio at affordable atvs. seems to be a pretty nice place. the owner is very interested in any problems and is professional.
