Thanks, I hunted for a while for a mv28 carb, there were hard to find and high. My Main jet is stamped 132 and I got carried away with the sea foam, I thought I had more fuel in it but its almost empty. I bought another carb and put my jets in it and it use to run great but not now. The 2 changes I made might be the problem. I lost the parts for the outside air box so I left the box housing and just put a cone foam air filter inside the box. The other part I suspect might be a problem. I lost the choke/enhancer so I ordered one for the tw200 carb. It fits like it should but carb don't run good at all. With the choke on halfway it runs but feels weak. It ran good with enhancer out but idles high. Just not sure about the enhancer and parts are so hard to find for the old mv28 now.

When I say put the jets in I used my old jets because it ran good before, then made one good carb. I had the needle clip in the center and it didn't run good so moved the clip down one, that's where I'm at now with idle screw out about 4 turns. It will barely stay idleing with choke off and dies as soon asi give fuel, runs good with choke on but does pop when I let off some and idles high. Will put fresh gas in asap and try that.

4 turns out is excessive. All of the behavior you describe indicates a lean condition
