Maybe they will let you mount something like this in the parking lot.

This community made it happen, so it should serve the community. It's every bodies bike as far as I am concerned.
Dan, what you don't realize is that you've earned this money. I've watched you patiently answer the same questions over and over, without resorting to the dreaded "use the search function" response. You've helped other members with their machines and given excellent guidance on all aspects of motorcycling. Those are some of the reasons that I was happy to donate to the cause.

So glad to see that your goal has been exceeded already. You're now in the territory of being able to buy a new exhaust right away.

Cheers!
Derryk

And just like that, in about 3 days time (of the GoFundMe being posted) the "Frugal" China Bike community replaces what was stolen by a bunch of jerks

If you need help "hot wiring" your new seat, let me know

“A bunch of jerks” is too soft Azhule! This is a family site so I get it.

When the West was wild, they would hang a person for stealing someone’s horse! Just sayin’!

I completely agree with you Weld but if that were the case, we should all band together and buy you a Ferrari!

Ok, I had a sip of coffee.

Wow, guys. Wow... I really don't have words.

The funny thing is, I know my girlfriend is one of those anonymous donors, but she won't admit it. I could tell by a tone in her voice. I also know that a couple of my friends donated as well.

I am not a religious man, so blessings to me are a different thing. I am blessed though. By all of you. This is the greatest community of owners that I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. You are all incredible.

I can setup the page. I went over my goal, so I can toss in the first 90 bucks.

The exhaust is about the only thing I need to buy. Aside from some different tubes and tires, but I can manage that in my own time.

I already have a uni filter and 4 carburetors including a PZ30 pumper sitting here. Outside of the before mentioned exhaust, a pair of adjustable levers, and a rear set of the LED signals I had (I have a pair of fronts already) and the handlebars are the only think missing. None of this is expensive or even necessary.

What can I say, I tend to collect parts. Heck, I still have the original knobbies from the stolen bike.

I still don't believe I have earned anything, or that I am so deserving of it. Obviously, I won't argue about it given my current situation...

Sometimes nice things SHOULD just happen to nice guys, Dan! Usually that is never the case, loud obnoxious and dishonest people seem to be waged plenty here in life.

You certainly deserved to have the community you've helped so much step up and help you in a time of need.

Now where is that Hawk in the shipping process?

It will probably be a few days before I can order it. It seems the process to transfer accounts takes -5 days. Hopefully I can order it around Wednesday next week, and with processing and shipping times, have it delivered the following Friday.

Can't wait to see your new Hawk, Dan!! It's amazing to see the outpouring of people who care about people. Kudos to all of you guys. A great lesson to be learned.

I think if my SL125 (Lifonda) got stolen, I'd be just like Pee Wee Herman when he got his bike stolen- I guess it's a good reminder that in the end, people and family are more important than things! I gotta remind myself of that one, as I've spent hundreds of hours in my garage lately!!
