First off, I am a great supporter of synthetic oil, but not till a motor is broken in completely. Chances are you will glaze up the clutches if the plates have not properly broken in.

As for jets, there is no one magic size. What is your alltitude, What is driving habit like, What is your gear ratio, what other mods are you going to do with the jet change. All these factors will make a big change in the jetting.

I live at 6000'and ride to well over 7500' regularly, and even with the exhaust silencer change out, uni filter, and gear change, I am now a tad lean from the factory setting. At sea level, I would be lean to the point I would worry about burning a valve or piston..

bike has already been broken in.I figured i gave enough information with putting in the uni filter and drilling out the pipe. The only thing i didn't say was that i'm about 150 feet above sea level.

I'm at about 900 feet above sea level with an open free flowing after market exhaust a K&N rc-1120 filterW/sock and had to go from a stock 98 main to a 115 just to get it to run right again.

Don't think that drilling the muffler would give the flow that that a "real" silencer would. I found little to no difference in mine, but a drastic change with the RZV muffler. You can try a 115, but I think it would be a bit rich. You can always drop your needle down if you need too. Since the shipping would be the same for one or two, I would buy a 110 and a 115. Put both jets on a table and play eney meney miney moe, and install the jet you land on.
