Hanway HS125

Just thought i would stick up a Hi post.

Im from the UK and i'm new to riding, I have picked up a new Hanway HS125 , it looks like its a running a ohv 125cc with (honda cg125?) fuel injection. Engine code of 152fmi.

I'm still running the engine in (done a whole 180miles so far and loving it ) but i've come looking to find any additional info on it, around things like front usd forks , ecu and remapping software.

Anyhow ... hello

Here you go, a couple of snaps from getting to work this morning. It's a very retro/classic scrambler look, which there seems to be a bit of a wave of at the moment between scramblers/cafe racers and general old school looks going on in the UK.

1 of those CBF (successor of CG) copycat ...
btw. What's the WMI (1-3 of the 17-digit VIN)? This brand is difficult to track the maker...

So is there anything i need to keep and eye on with this CBF copy? I've already done an early oil change (180ish miles) where as first service is 600, the engine sounded happier for it.

I've also been wondering about the vin too as not found mcuh on it. first 3 are SJV

on the same plate its also got what i think is its ECC number

Welcome aboard! I read the title and thought of the old joke.

"I've got a hanway!"
"Really, what's a hanway???"
"Oh, usually 4 or 5 pounds..."

I was going to get the ball rolling by saying well at least it's not a Henway, but you beat me to it.

Love the simple old-skool styling! Wish we had that here instead of the modern overplasticed look. But that's marketing for ya.
