need help
my taotao rhino 250 won't start I can only assume it is the carb when I spray carb cleaner in the spark plug it will fire for a second.
I use only ethanol free fuel. but did leave gas in the bowl for 3 months. My daughter's apollo blazer 9 was hard to start but I was able to get it started. But it then started leaking gas out the hose that runs to the bottom of the machine. I am again assuming the float on the carb is stuck. Both machines have less than 10 hours on them. I installed hour meters before they were ever started. for my help can someone please tell me what ngk spark plug goes in the rhino. Thanks alot |

Now if I can open the carb can I swap the jets or do I need a whole new carb still?

Probably just clogged jets. Just clean them out.

I gather you have already altered the stock carb to gain access to the jets.
I went ahead and upgraded the carb after the maiden voyage. I probably could have changed the needle and jets in the stocker but the upgraded carb was cheap enough so I figured why bother. Mikuni VM26 30mm Carb Carburetor... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CN36W65?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf I swapped the cap as the stock cable end will not seat correctly in the mikuni cap. I also swapped the choke lever, dropped the needle to the 4th slot and put in a 110 main jet. Last edited by cycle; 12-09-2018 at 05:30 PM. |

Is she running well for you in cold temps? I plan on using the rhino to tow my Eskimo flip shanty. Thanks for the info on your setup also
