moving the clip, does it make the carb starve?
I moved the clip to the middle (or second to bottom, I dont remember) and now at WOT the bike sounds like its starving for gas. Do I need a bigger jet?

Moving the clip has no effect at WOT. You may well need a bigger main.

did you remove the bowl at all, the float might be stuck, tap the side with a rubber hammer, open the drain cock see if fuel is flowing steady, make sure u put the slider back in the right slots ?, did you clean the carb at all ? there might be debree in the main jet, check all that b-4 you go bigger jet

Im guessing something might not have gone back together quite right. This happened to a couple people on here already but thats my best guess. Also the smaller the carb the more susceptible it is to getting cloged by sand or small dirt particles. You may have unknowingly let some grime get in when putting it back together, it takes close to nothing to clog them tiny jets. I would take it back apart in a very clean environment and do a full spray cleaning of all the jets, bowl, floats exc. with carb cleaner. I have had bikes that I would basically have to take the carb off ever few months of riding because they get just partially cloged with something it sucked in like fine sand or whatever.
