hopefully they (chinese) will be able to create a 1-off of the motor and use it in some other bike that is more cost effective.

Honestly, I don't think it's too badly priced compared to the competition. Also, I like the idea it comes stripped. Not all of us will be circumnavigating the Arctic. I stripped our RX3's and added a larger trunk to each bike just for store runs or jackets to peel off.

I had seen this one, AND a 450 adventure bike but didn't post either one. I hate being teased for years, as many manufacturers have done, showing pictures and no bike, so I figured I would wait a bit before posting. But, I guess I am not doing my job...

Ok, here is the adventure bike--I was wrong; it is a 500cc and according to the article (which also mentions the 350 shown above and an intriguing 'adventure' scooter), the 500cc engine is an original engine designed by Lifan and an 'Italian design company'.

The Lifan really resembles a naked Aprilia (I'm sure its a coincidence).
