I'm not sure anymore but at one time, the 200 was the largest motor that they were allowed to build and sell in China, if I remember correctly.

I was disappointed with Lifan for not sticking their fuel-injected/liquid-cooled/6-speed engine in the XPect. It is CARB certified for California, too. But...that engine is also 200cc

I agree. In truth, I would trade.my hawk for that setup in an enduro in a heartbeat. Liquid cooling makes up for the 30cc loss in displacement, and an extra gear would also make up for it. I would bet my last dollar it would be just as fast as a any cg250 enduro on the market.

A very reliable rumor has it a street legal version of new Orion RXB-250cc will be released in June, but there will only be 20 of them as a test. I suspect they will have the 21/18 wheels, hope they come out with a SM version with a set of 17" like the DB-36 deluxe.

talked with CSC, no plans for a larger tt dual sport.
CSC great customer service, no issues. 200 mile evaluation on the CSC tt-250. My take on the bike. Quality is good, no real issues with the bike yet, runs smooth. Few minor things that bug me. 1. front brake squeaks on/off, sometimes makes noise for the whole time and other rides not a sound for the whole 5-10 miles. 2. starter does not spin the engine over real well, acts like timing is too advanced or it's too small of starter, or ???? I have not tried troubleshooting it yet, other than I checked the battery. It load tested with good results. 3. Offset rear sprocket from the factory, if you line up the rear tire properly the chain is not lined up, inside of the front sprocket gets polished. It needs a straight rear sprocket, I have a JTR 269 sprocket on order 56T should resolve this issue. 4. I don't like the gearing on this bike, 1-5 is too close together and 1st is too high. This bike seems to have plenty of low rpm torque. They could have put a low 1st gear for steep hills, rock crawling, getting started, spaced the gears out more so you could run 60mph in 5th. I am still ok with my purchase since a new Honda was so expensive, and essentially no 200-350 used dual sports in my area. I did score a 06, DR200 for my wife. |

@Dusman,
You want a CSC TT250 or the Brozz 250 for a solid commuting chinese dual sport ready to go. I have Round tripped 70 miles to my job at Peace certain days when I don't want to drive my truck and I've slapped a dealer plate on my demo/test ride unit Brozz 250 home before pegging it at 68-72 on the highway for many miles each trip. Slight down hill it'll do 72-73 and slight uphill it'll do 67-68. Perfectly flat it holds at 70. This demo bike I assembled, put gas in it, and ride. Zero mods. Still on shipping oil even(literally assembled and ride)...cuz its the demo bike that'll go to auction once its served its purpose. This bike seems built to cruise at 55 mph. |

Was this going off of the stock speedo by chance? Something quite renowned on chinese bikes to be rather optimistic.

If they do offer this, I wonder how much they would charge for it. I’m betting it would push $2500 delivered. |

Hey Dusman... The Roketa is road ready right out the box... you will not need to do anymore than adjust your fuel trims ... meaning replace or repair the Carb... I believe it comes stock with the PZ30 carb... Mine runs great.. I am also looking at the Basha.. BMS CRP 250 too... check them out...

They use skinny forks because they make millions of them every year. Nothing else can compete with them, price-wise. If their home and Asian market demands 35 mm tubed forke, then they will make millions of those, and they will only be a very little more in manufacturers cost.....ARH

The Brozz is one of the better picks of the Chinese dual-sports, and has a loyal cult following. Jeff has been posting here for quite a while, so we know he is legit. Let us know how everything goes!
