My Apollo Deluxe is almost HERE!!
Just got the best surprise I've had in a while. Shipping company called to setup a delivery time for my Apollo. I've had a Hawk and didn't have any issues. Im looking for anything I should be prepared for as well as any mods or upgrades I should do before getting all out together. I'm already looking for the mikuni carb on Amazon. So any upgrades or suggestions are appreciated.

First, congrats on the bike! I really like the looks of those.
Secondly, I'd suggest putting on the first 500 miles (or at least 300) in stock form and see how it settles in. The bikes attitude will change a lot in those miles. As an example, i changed the carb on our TT250 and I really didn't need to. It ran fine stock.

Altitude will play a big role in the stock jetting being sufficient for some. As a general rule of thumb, most of these bikes come jetted fairly lean for anybody living at lower altitudes. This doesn't mean they won't run, but a small increase in main jet size and uncapping/adjusting the idle mixture screw are a good idea for getting it to run at its best.

That said, on my old X-moto and my Hensims, all I needed to do was open the idle mixture a turn and raise the needle one clip and they ran awesome. Just be patient and put at least 300 miles on it. You may be surprised. ...and of course, post pics!
