i'm sure this has been asked before
many times , but i cant find anything on the site! If the lifan 200 is based on a honda motor which motor is it based on obviously a 200 but year and model. Or is it really loosely based on one, I would like to know in order to search oem parts on hondas ??? If it is even possible???

No real connection to Hondas, other than looks. Maybe something, maybe, sort of, maybe..... :x

has to be more than looks if OB1 could put a lifan engine in an xr200 and use the honda wiring harness.

Nothing internally, for the most part. Externally, these things will bolt (with some help in some cases)in to a wide range of older Honda products.

Hello People
So far I've found the following honda parts fit directly onto my 1996 125 GY engine... CRF 230 coil XR 200 Carb XR/CRF CDI Still stuck on exhaust but some non standard XR 200 and the CRF 230 look pretty close. http://www.motocrossworld.com/ have detailed parts drawings if anyone wants to take a look. Hope that helps. |

on my roketa db-27 the whole bike and engine can be replaced with any part off of a 1981 xr100r

i took my starter relay to the honda shop and matched one up. i don't know what model,but it was a stock honda part. i didn't buy it cause it was $70.00.

i tried a ford relay but couldn't get it to work. good thing SamM was parting out his viva at the time.
