Please HELP 250cc Tao Tao Rhino noise

Hello
Ive only had this atv for a week and getting a noise on the left side (as you're sitting facing forwards) It right where you change gears. Theirs a cap to unscrew on the top for some type of oil. Beside the starter I cant find any nfo on oil amount or the oil type to see if it has enough. I will try to upload a pic.

That cap is for access to your timing marks on the flywheel. No need to add oil in that cap location. The dip stick on the opposite side is where you check and add oil. Not sure if your bike has a sight glass. if it does it should be half way the glass. Only use oil rated for wet clutch.

If it has the original oil, get it out and put new in. Most use Rotella T 15w40. As Jerry said, Check the oil level on the right hand side.

Yep. Change the oil. It holds a quart.

Could be your stator plate is coming loose.Take that outer chrome cover off,see if anything is loose inside. With the cover still off, start the atv up and see if you can see if it is rattling.

Are you sure your chain is not too loose and rattling? If you don't know how to check the oil I'm guessing you haven't adjusted your chain tension either???
