Since I am so interested in this engine myself I decided to dig and dig until I could find good blueprints of the mount distances.

As a whole the rear mounts and top mount on the head will more or less line up with the top mounts being the only mildly questionable of the three since the blueprints measured the distance from two different points.

Unsurprisngly the front two mount points are different.

The top front mount - the one closest to the cylinder - is 16mm higher and a bit further back toward the cylinder. This is not a big deal because this mount point uses two bolted on plates which can be easily fabricated.

The lower front mount is the only one that will require some form of fabrication where welding would be involved as it is 10mm lower down than the non-balanced CB and CG engines. This mount point is two tabs welded to the frame on the Hawk.

The lower rear to lower front mount distance is exactly the same, so in theory it may be possible to raise the front of the motor 10mm to line the lower front mount up and then adjust the top front, top, and left upper rear mount plates to compensate. The issue is, the right side upper rear mount bracket to the frame would then need to be "adjusted" in some fashion, either by cutting and welding or possibly slotting the hole at the engine itself. Likewise one could potentially slot the lower front holes a little but, but there is not enough material there to do the full 10mm.

The least involved way would be to simply bolt the rear mounts and head in place, make new front upper bracket plates, and then fab up a couple of tabs for the lower front mount and weld them on.

Instead of going through that headache, have you thought about early XR200 style mounting? It might be easier for you to line everything up. EDIT: I guess this expounds on the lowest option of your list a little bit.

Front mount:

Frame (pay attention to the bottom right of the photo, not for your benefit but anyone else reading, Dan):

It is basically two posts/channels welded into the downtube for the bolts for the front mount to go through. Then you can make any mount work pretty easily.

That isn't an entirely bad idea and could be easily done to hang the upper and lower mounts from the 2 mount points on the downtube where the upper mount is located. The two lower mounts could be modified to also tie into it independently to give another point to secure it. Worst case scenario is they would need to be cut off, or otherwise heated and beated to buy room.

Just thought I'd share what's already been done, so you don't have to reinvent the wheel

Well the engine has arrived. Just like the ebay listing with all wiring and carburetor, etc. Showed up today via Fedex and only took 9 days since I ordered it. I will be posting a video of the process when all is said and done and will link it here.

Ok. Ill post a few pictures. I got the oe engine removed. Wasnt too bad at all. The wiring is all completely different. Nothing is the same so its a good thing I got the kit with all the wiring harnesses and all. My plan for tomorrow is to get the new engine installed so I can see what bracket/mount changes will be required. Exhaust looks the same. Mounting points are definitely close. Will see. Like I said Im going to be doing a video of all of it and it will be on my youtube channel when its done.

You really should resize your images. The way they are now it makes your post unreadable.

Ok. A few more pics for tonight. I got the engine installed. It is tight. Shoehorned in there barely. I had to cut off the lower front motor mounts. If you are careful you can reweld them back on in the right spot. The top front mount needs work. I suppose you could just only bolt 1 bolt to the engine but the correct way is to make new mounts. Ill have to see what I can do since I dont have a plasma cutter. The engine touches the frame where the counterbalancer is. Zero clearance. Dan was spot on in his description above. Im very impressed so thanks.

Can you tilt the engine back any to clear the front? Might need the 3lb persuader to help make some room lol. Good progress so far. If you where closer i have a plasma cutter you could use.
