Didi the dyno guy give you torque results too? That number is just as important.

Also, if your bike is stock, with no air box/carb/exhaust mods, that could be hiding some of the performance advantage.

I never said they are a bad mod, nor that they were instant Hayabusa, but a good mod in conjunction others.

Modifying only one component of a system wont do much, sometimes nothing, sometimes actually hurts performance. The proper combination of mods will give you the most these lil engines can put out.

Wish I knew a dyno guy, would love to test my hybrid!

CRidin, the "Sanyo" box is not the one in question and does not have the same advance as the other box being tested. They all have different advance curves some are more aggressive then others.

You do not have any of the necessary supporting mods on your new bike as you have a brand new stock GY5 after your recent accident posted on your motohillbilly account that got banned.

My numbers were posted for the guys who choose not to completely mod thier bike.

The tq numbers are as follows

Stock 11.21 ft.lbs.@7184
CDI 11.33ft.lbs.@7224

These are all peak numbers for the rpm range I was willing to go to with my new bike. After breakin I will abuse it more.Kinda

I am Keep no secrets by the way. The mods squad can speak for that. But one thing I am doing is avoiding thing that got me banned in the first place. YOU! I will have no more response to any post you make. The mods are aware that I desire to be a part of this community and that I am willing to stay a Positive member. Porterz if you need somthing from me. I will only talk with you through PM. Best of luck.

Take a look at the ticket they gave you... it will say what brand of dynometer they used. The reason I asked is some brands rate the hp higher than others (Mustang dyno's are bad about reading high).

17 at the wheel translates into.... 17+(17x.15).... 19.55hp at the crank.. that is assuming 15% loss, and I really think with a chain the losses due to friction would be closer to 20%. I am keeping in mind that a dyno has so many variables that can affect it's readings. Still, 20 crank hp is a darn good number from a (brand new) stock Chinese 200! But I think it's way off.

What dose the torque curve look like?

After market CDI 17.5 hp at 7900 rpm.

I dont feel a thing. Bike acts exactly as before. But my issue may be that I wouldnt allow them to pass 8500rpm as my bike has all of 33 miles on it. Its bone stock. I didnt want the 10000 rpm @60mph blues if ya know what I mean. This place does nothing but high performance upgrades to motorcycles. I cant help but to beleive them legit. The dyno tech said before he puged it in.

It's nice to get the numbers before and after the breakin, very cool! I just changed my oil (3rd time) at 500k and I was shocked by the difference. Not that it's a powerhouse now, but it's much smoother and more responsive. The first ride reminded me of the Kaw 250 cruiser I had in the past.

Also, I'm tempted to think the actual numbers are fairly useless, but the differences between the stock and the mod numbers are what's important. Maybe the dyno does read high, but a 2hp change will still be close to a 2hp change.

So, get out and ride! We want more numbers! 8O
