High mileage CG clone

Who has the most miles on a Hawk,TBR7,Brozz etc ???.
I usually do about 8,000-10,000 miles a year on my bikes and I’m wondering if I’m going to kill my new Hawk DLX ?..hehehehehe 😉😉

With 10.000 miles per year, you have CG engine for a long long long time...
Is not an uncommon sight to see CG engines that are 2 years old that have 40.000, 50.000 km on the odometer.

As long you maintain them and don't abuse them, those engines are very reliable.

That’s GREAT to hear,I have my main bike and the Hawk is a second bike so maybe it will get 5,000 plus a year.

As with anything, take care of it and it will take care of you. If my previous Hawk hadn't been stolen I would probably be around the same miles as Jerry. I put 4000 miles on it in a year with a mix of city and highway riding and it never missed a beat.

As long as the carb is tuned well and you change the oil on a decently regular basis, no problem. Since you have an EFI bike, that eliminates one of those two factors lol.

Plus, even if something does go wrong, you can rebuild these things pretty cheap. The cylinder and piston kit with rings I ordered set me back a whole $58, and a full gasket set was another $12. I don't even need to do them, but I figure since I am taking the motor apart to upgrade the cam I may as well just freshen it up a bit.

New Brozz/Motomax engine is $478 if anyone needs one. Zongshen engine. Buying this from this guy and then getting a new engine from me is cheaper than a new Brozz.

What you talking about Jeff? The Brozz is just getting broke in. That is a good price for the engine though.
