Trade ya 20 degrees of cold for some of that warm.

And I picked Nov for the Wickenburg ride thinking it was going to be cold. I was wrong!

Dude, stop whining. It's cold and icy here in Ohio. Some people are just never happy......

Jay's adventures yesterday

It was a beautiful 65° day so Jay took my bike out first, rode it for about 45 minutes and then topped the tank off again and added more stabilizer. Then he chained it to the porch and put the new bike cover on.

Then he took mean green out for a couple of hours. He managed to find an old abandoned road bed that we used to ride horses across, from one gravel road to another. Surprisingly he was able to make it all the way through, other than having to jump a few fallen logs. Then he topped it off and added more stabilizer to his as well.

The dynamic duo have gotten smarter. While Jay was off gallivanting his roommate Dano was working on my kitchen and installing a 300 watt LED outside light. I pay Dano and he in turn hands the money to Jay for rent. Now my kitchen is nearly finished and Jay's getting money in his pocket.

The Hawk in it's natural environment. Got my riding in over the weekend. Temps have dropped into the 30's here in the south and doesn't look like it will be warming up soon. What happened to fall? lol

Could you step outside and do a short video on a cold start on Jays Hawk?

😅😂🤣 Well I could.. and with that big pilot it would probably start.. but I feel that would be overstepping my bounds so, I'll leave that task up to Jay..

We got that same front about a day before you. First snow of the year for us too. Didn't add up to much of anything, but it still managed to weed out some idiots who forget that ice = crash. 4 vehicles in the ditch at the I80 interchange nearest to my house alone.

Now it is a balmy 16 degrees with a nice cool 30mph wind from Canada.

I love the Great Plains. lol

We got 12-16" of wet heavy snow. Tonight's low is going to be 5 degrees so it should freeze into a mess.

The storm started yesterday, but it took full choke for about 30 seconds to warm up then it was good. Bogged as expected. Debated on tuning it for the cold, but it will likely get to the negative digits and i have no desire to ride in that.

Won't lie, had a great time yesterday, was a nice lil off road trail,. Maybe a 1-1\2 2 mile lil shot uphill. Got to get in, when ya fit in. With this weather.
Not a bad last chance adventure. What these bikes were made for. Had I actually bled my back brake I would've turned around and went back down.
