Howdy folks!
Hey guys, just bought a new Trailmaster Blazer 4 150x buggy as a family Christmas gift. I happened on this forum early enough in the process to help me avoid some potentially bad dealer options, and I'm hoping I can get some more value out of some of you going forward. I've notices a ton of bike guys on here, but not a ton of buggy chatter. There any buggy guys hanging out around here?

Welcome aboard! I don't own a buggy but my daughter does have a Cazador 180 UTV. Same gy6 engine as the buggies. It's just over 3 years old and has performed flawlessly. Just change out the motor oil and transmission oil to a good synthetic once broke in and it will last a long time.

Hey Jerry, thanks for the advice! What weight oil do you recommend? I've seen 10w 40, 10w 30 and straight 30 all recommended in various youtube videos. From what I could read of the manual, it looked like 10w 40 was what it called for, so that's what I have at the moment.

I use 10w 40. I live in the south so I went with the heavier weight oil. Very rare to have freezing temperature around here.

Welcome! In addition to Jerry's advice, I would encourage you to change the oil that is in the reverse housing. For that and the transmission, I use 75W90 synthetic.
