Rhino 250 availability

I purchased a TaoTao Rhino 250 this week and I got a call that it was out of stock. It would’ve been nice if the website was current on the availability but whatever. I have two questions

Is it normal for several dealers of the Rhino 250 to be out of stock?
Should I be concerned that there is no stock?

They offered the 170cc Bull automatic as a substitution but I declined opting to wait for the Rhino.

These dealers all pretty much dropship, so they are all selling out of 'the source'. It might take time (months) before they become available again.

I know the raptor 200 I'm waiting on is at least going to be until the end of January. I think that's doubtful too with Chinese new year and all. It takes a while for the boat to get here from the factory to replenish US stock. Long story, but if a dealer doesn't have one on hand then you're going to we waiting until the factory sends more to Tao Tao U.S. distribution.

Just got a call from the shipping company today and my raptor will be delivered on Thursday. So it looks like a least some Tao Tao atv s have made it here.

Pillihp, I started looking for a Rhino right after Christmas and was told mid Feb, March. I happen to find a place that had a few left. I was looking for a black one but they only had blue. I ordered it on Sat 1/4/20 and received it on 1/10/20. It was manufactured 10-2019 so it wasnt a old left over... You can give Birdys Scooters in ID a try.... BTW I received a blue one and the first thing I did was sand it down, primed it and painted it metallic charcoal grey, and finished it with a gloss clear coat, came out awesome... Good luck with your search.

Yeah. I’m being told they expect new inventory to ship mid February
