I recently got the same carburetor as you and put in the 110 main jet. Now I am having issues starting the bike compared to when I had the PZ carb.. but maintains idle fine after it warms up.
Did some searching and looks like I need to up the pilot jet as well?
I just ordered a #25 pilot in hopes that it will work for me.
I too am at sea level in Houston. Temps seem to be in the 50s-60s recently. Thanks!
At sea level you definitely need a 25 or bigger. Look up fuel/air mixture ratios. When I went to school the preferred ratio was 14.3 to 1, but it has since changed to 14.7 to 1.

My hwncbe or whatever Mikuni clone came with a pilot jet labeled "40" installed with the8 hole jet in the rebuild pack. Is this actually a 40? I was planning on upjetting to 25 but that'd be going down if the 40 is right. Runs way better out of the box than with the stock sheng wey pz30

Same question... I just ordered a 35, 37.5 pilot off jetsrus. I hope i don't have to order smaller ones. Just when i thought i would have it tuned perfectly lol. I know it comes with the 40. We'll see when i get them.

Doh!

So the 37.5 is a bit rich. I have performance pipe, pod filter etc. So im shooting for the 25 and above. I'm just going to order every one in between. We'll see in another week after i order them.
