I use Champion chain lube. It's a little messy but wipes off pretty easy.

Maybe I can put it up on the center stand and just turn the tire. I'll find a way to get the excess off safely. I think it can be done safely with the engine on, so that maybe the rag gets pulled into the sprocket, but not your hand. If done wrong, (stupidly) ya a noob could get hurt. |
