50/50 tire vs. knobbies
I was watching Motocheez's video we're a bunch of guys on bikes went to a sandpit. One was the Bashan Brozz with a 50/50 tire and other bikes with knobby tires. The Brozz with the 50/50 tire seemed like it was going up a sandhill just as easy as the bikes with the knobby tires. I've never ridden with the 50/50 tire so I don't know how they do. does anyone think they're just as good as knobby tires when you get into sand and mud?

Where I ride I use the stock knobby. I have seen several bikes with the 50/50 riding around. I talked with one and he swears by it. Said it's not real good in thick mud but great for rocks and trees. Most of the bikes that use them are Husqvarna 300s. Some KTMs.

Most under rated tyre these days is the trials pattern ...
there are a few Hybrid versions now.... Trials/Knobbly cross pattern MotoZ and Kenda make some quite good ones... ..

i surprised a LOT of people with my supermoto, as long as its not slick, you would be amazed at how much traction you get on dry hard packed trails with street tires... went on a trial ride right after getting the supermoto done, and everyone said i would be walking it out... passed a lot of bikes with these tires on:

Most 50/50-ish tires actually do fine on dry loose surfaces. Where a true knobby tends to really outshine a dual purpose tire is wet sticky surfaces, aka thick mud, or very very fine silt.

I know the Brozz Tires are advertised as 50/50. But Id call them 80/20's. They will get through most things fine. They will slide around A LOT in mud, wet grass, loose dirt, and sand. Generally fine for most dual sporting until you get into rough stuff. This is what a true 50/50 looks like. Notice the much larger knobs and way more space between them. https://www.americanmototire.com/dua...1806c1-mc.html

Are the CSC TT250 tires considered 50/50 or more like 60/40?
