New 2020 Brozz delivered, fork removal question

Just got my new 2020 Brozz, very happy with it so far. Started uncrating and assembly last night. So probably many more questions to follow!
First is I want to remove the front forks to drain and replace the oil. Do I just loosen the bolts and the forks slide down and out? Then remove the caps from the top and let drain upside down all night?

Caps on top! never bolts underneath as that lets the fork go apart n can cause a load of issues!

This is what I have done. Hopefully correctly!
When I add new tomorrow, I am planning on adding 230 ml if that is close to what drains out over the night. Do I need to add in any specific spot or anywhere within the outside tube will do?
Thanks in advance for any helpful replies. Motorcycles are new to me let alone building one. If anyone has HVAC questions I can help them out!

gwow - did you see my vid?

Crack fork cap (on bike), loosen pinch bolts on upper and lower triple tree\bridge.

Slide forks out, unscrew fork cap, remove spring, pour out old oil and pump a few times.

Fill from the top and reverse the steps.

Curious how did you arrive at wanting to 230ml ?

What is your fork oil weight?, what applications will you drive in mostly ? offroad\street? Suppose your body weight may play a role as well ?

Factor all of the above to determine how many mls... also its easier to add then subtract.

Yes, I cracked the caps and then removed forks from bike. Completely unscrewed caps and slid inner unit out partially. I didn't remove any spring however. Does that have to be done to remove all the oil? A decent amount seemed to be coming out the way I did it.
I got to 230ml from reading posts on here what other Brozz owners had added. I saw several posts that is the amount of oil they drained out and what they put back in.
I was going to measure what drained over the night today and see if it was close to that.
I purchased Maxima 15W oil. As far as riding probably 70% on road. I haven't even gotten my learner's permit yet so I don't know what conditions mainly but probably at most light trails

When I did my forks last week, I pulled out the inner spring to allow me to pump the forks, the pumping gets out the black crud & crap.

Dont be afraid to pull the spring out and pump those suckers to get as much out as you can.

15w @ 190 should be fine, I went with 190ml because I want a little air ( I ride 90% street).

Maybe start at 200ml and ride it and see how you like it?

I don't think this is exact science, I think you need to see what you like and like I said, starting at 200ml and adding 30 ml after is super easy, just open the caps ( while on the bike) and add 30 ml to each , easy peasy.

You certainly will not damage anything, there are people who put 160ml and love the feel.

Brozz Gold forks hold 320ml. So you'll likely be refilling 300-320 depending on how much comes out. 5w, 10w, 15w oil is your preference.

See this thread for more Brozz specs.
