Rear shock replacement Hawk 250
Could I use this as a replacement for the rear shock on a Hawk 250? I've seen the white one that megadan put on his but the color choices on these were neat. Any input would be appreciated. Was going to go down to a 280mm shock because I'm not that big at 5'8" and 150lbs.

No, those will not work. Those are twin shocks used on bikes with a shock on each side of the swing arm, our bikes use a single mono shock. The spring rates will be way too soft even for somebody your size.
If you truly want a 280mm shock, then I would greatly consider one of these. https://www.amazon.com/280MM-FASTACE...omotive&sr=1-1 Or This, which is the model I Just bought for my bike to work with the Brozz swing arm. https://www.amazon.com/FASTACE-RACIN...omotive&sr=1-1 The spring rate on my current shock is 1200lbs/in, which is much more suitable for guys well north of 200lbs, but might be a bit too firm for you. Thos shocks have a 1000lb spring. It is also of much better quality. Fast Ace stuff is some of the top end in terms of Chinese motorcycle suspension parts. The one I bought has needle bearings in the end bushings, which in itself will be a big improvement. Are you sure you want to lower your bike upwards of, and possible more than, 4 inches?

As far as changing out the rear shock, there are several options. I went with the KEOGHS brand adjustable shock found on Aliexpress. They have gone up in price about 20 bucks since I bought mine, but mine has been great so far. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3281...7%237564%23639 If I were to make a suggestion it would be to favor the shorter shock. Stock is 320mm center to center, so if you had to choose, I would suggest 310-315mm. That would make for a 1/2 to 1" drop in total ride height out back. I ordered what I thought was a 320mm, but it ended up being a 325mm which raised the back half an inch.
