TBR7 headlight

So far, I'm loving this bike except for one thing. The headlight on it is craptastic. I ordered an LED bulb from ebay, but it isn't any better. The reflector for the headlight doesn't seem to focus the LED well at all. Has anyone had any success replacing the bulb or even the entire headlight assembly to something that is improved over factory?

Same for the storm, led helped but still sucks. A lot of people put led pod lights on the front to help.

run a wire from the battery to a relay, have the light switch trigger the relay. Won't cost much and you wont have to worry about smoking the stock harness.

China bikes even the bigger have crap lights - my RX3 has an LED headlight n still crap as most bikes or all bikes do.
Extra lights on the side with relay I would suggest RELAY so you don't burn the ign switch or light switch etc as stated

Power for spots

On my TT250 I used the hot and neutral that goes to the little "running light". Just cut the wires and abandoned that little thing. Comes on with ignition. You could put a switch in series if you want to turn them off. I had no problem with two 20W LED spots. One of those burnt out, so I replaced with two 11W/880 Lumen units.

If you replace the main headlight with an LED, then you "save" enough Amps to not draw too much when adding the spots (which don't really draw much either).

Check out spots at SuperBrightLEDs.com

The first one are the ones I got. The second ones are twice the $, but I think likely better. I got mine at 60 degree angle, the more expensive ones have more options 10, 30, 60, 120.
