What to do
Well I finally got the Apollo 250 Deluxe on the road more than 2 weeks after delivery however, I'm curious what everyone else would do in my position. I currently have all the plastics off of it but I've noticed the carb has the dreaded baugh in it. Any more than 1/3 throttle there's nothing much there. Do I just be patient and put some miles on it, only has 2, and see what happens or re-jet the carb now while it's easy to get to?
Thanks, Dean |

Re-jet the Carb. They do come lean from the factory. Also check and make sure you are not running on half choke.

Thanks, the choke was fine. Since I will eventually upgrade the carb and this being the "tamper proof " style what's your opinion on just ordering a new one and go from there? Btw, I don't have a dremel tool.

I encourage you to set the valves as well.

Thanks for your reply, and as I've learned it seems all these bikes need the valves adjusted including mine. They were both virtually set at zero. They are now both set at 004.
