I put on the 2 inch spacers from whygostock.com. I looked at my invoice and do not see a part number. They are listed as "ATV Wheel Spacers for Tao Motors Go Kart 2 Inch" for $94.95. Pricey but high quality and perfect fit. Comes with lugs. I love them and I think this is how it should look.

OK, so I had my first "Made in China" moment this weekend. The little plastic tab/button cover, what ever you call it on the ebrake switch, took off like a rocket when I released the front brake off the engaged position. Never to be seen again!

Do the rhinos have a governor installed from factory to not blow the engine?

Change that Oil
Another thing I want to share is I did a second oil change after riding about five short 20 minutes rides. The plug was loaded with shavings! Wish I had taken a picture. I see this quick oil change as being an engine saver! I have not changed to synthetic yet but the next will be. I am thinking these two runs with non synthetic before the change. Please chime in on what you guys think. I was told a story by a name brand dealer friend about this man who bought five china quads for his kids and all five blow up in just a few days of riding. I wonder if it was the Oil or just a discouraging story?

Tabbed, You all please correct me if I am wrong, the factory CDI controls the rev limit. Aftermarket performance and race CDI removes this limit.

They could still blow the motor (I'm sure a couple of minutes not under load at 8500 would not be good for the motor), just teach them not to rev the piss out of the motor.
No machine is immune to abuse, the best thing you could do is teach them to respect the machine, and make sure it has fresh, non-shipping oil in it. Have them help you, it will teach respect. You could always get a throttle that has a limiter screw in it, and put a security screw in it. |

Not uncommon. These CG motors are super-tight when new and really enjoy a normal break-in.

Looks great! Nice catch on voltage. Mine doesn't like to start with low voltage either. I think I trashed the battery by leaving the HF Winch directly connected to the battery. It dawned on me the control box needs power since it's turned on with a remote. I was going to widen the rear stance but I was making a sharp turn near a stump and realized what the narrow stance is for and I kind of like it. As soon as I dump, I'll probably change it. No real problems thus far. I hate the way it shifts so I welded a handle shifter on the aft shifter finger. It still kind of sucks but I'll figure it out.

Yea, I am an old school dirt bike rider and remember the 4 up 4 down shifting. I did not think I would like the extra rear shifter but have realized my toes are not young anymore and learning to use it.
