Hello everyone!
Greetings from Northern Illinois. I'm new to the scooter world but not bikes. I used to race off road enduros and moto cross. I have not seen much mention of the bike I have. I picked up a 2011 new old stock Sachs Madass 125 got it running very well but looking for improvements. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi welcome to the site. I've never heard of your bike. Could you post some photos? Thanks

Welcome to here! The scooter company Amigo Motorsports was granted 2020 California CARB certification for the Madass 125, but they do not show it on their website as of yet. But perhaps they have information?
Excalibur Motorsports used to distribute the 49cc version in the US around 2015 and I got to ride it. I liked it a lot. The Sachs company in China screwed up the distribution for the 49cc version (another company, Pierspeed, distributed the 125cc version) by installing a cheaper carburetor than what was spec'd during EPA certification testing, so the EPA confiscated the whole container of the 49cc Madass and Excalibur stopped carrying them for good. Come to think of it, contact Pierspeed if they are still in business. Their website is still up. They were the last company to carry the 125cc Madass. http://peirspeed.com/
