New bike now to make it go
I have a clean slate to work with a nos 2011 Sachs Madass 125. Open to any suggestions about getting some real power from it and might even consider a complete new engine.

Cool. The Madazz is a cool machine. Just adding an exhaust and pod filter will not add that much power. You will need a bigger cam to feel a nice boost in that engine.
- the pit bike sites should offer a lot of speed parts. The might even offer kits that contain parts that work well together. - if you dont want to swap the cam, just save your money for a 200cc engine.

I was thinking about something in the 170 to 190 range but I see there are several makes and for the amount they want for one I want to choose wisely so hoping for info from someone with experience. Also need to know who handles the products I'm looking for.

Thanks for the info. Has anyone had any dealing with either one of these companies? How are the 190 engines holding up?

I have read that the Pirhana engines are really race tuned and rev really high. That makes them very difficult to ride in normal street and trail conditions.
- Read some recent reviews before spending your money.

After doing some research I have decided that I don't want a race engine. What I would like is more power in a 150 or larger engine manual transmission a 5 speed would be nice and preferably not a close ratio. Electric start is not a deal breaker but must have electrical for lights/ battery
