Is your engine feeling any stronger at 400 miles? Mine feels like it’s just starting to break in and loosen up ...but that may be wishful thinking and an improperly calibrated butt-dyno, because i ride with a passenger more often than not. Hahahaha
Hey man, I love the passenger idea! Make the experience as fun as you can get it and bring people along for the ride. Yeah, my engine feels so much better at around 500 miles. I mean the difference from where you are and just right where I am is night and day. You'll find those gear so much better around the 500 mile mark. Just keep riding it around where you are switching through the gears and it'll break it easy. We all go through it, Just the price we pay for Chinese, but it's worth the discount!

Haha. I have raced sport bikes since 2007ish, and raced XR100s from 2014 or so. Fiancé was super supportive about getting back into “big” bikes, but was upset that my SV650 doesn’t have lights or plates... so the Vader was my solution. We ride together, and she will learn on it.

Yeah that is the best bike to do it on! My girl and I both have a Vader and she's new on motorcycles so it's perfect for them to learn. Be safe!
