Yeah the stock chain is not an O ring chain

No the stock chain doesn't have a master link.

I was also looking to upgrade the headlight which is an HS1 bulb# for reference

Just order the NICHE 428 128 link chain will update on fitment when it arrives and I install it.

Has any changed out the HS1 headlight for a brighter LED option and if so what brand did you go with

I've been hearing how bad the chains are on the Brozz so I'm following suit and throwing a new one on; what is the spec chain slack though? I've just been adjusting to where it basically feels good and isn't too floppy or tight.

There is a lot of videos online and how to adjust the slack in your chain and if you look at the chain guard it gives you the specs on where your chain slack should be

Stock chain tightness specs is 3/5 of an inch of slack. Good luck wrapping your head around that measurement lol.
I adjust it to about 1/2 inch no weight on the bike then sit on it and reach down and tweak it a bit.. should feel secure but with play. Too loose and you may hear it fighting on the guide.
The stock chain is junk. Complete junk. It did get me through about 1000 miles but I adjusted it I think 4-5 times. Just kept stretching. I put the chain I linked to earlier on and haven't touched it in almost 3000 miles other than cleaning with WD40 then following that up with an oiler and HD gear lube. It is a little on the loose side now, but I'm putting it off until the snow hits as I'm planning on pulling the bike into the garage and pulling everything apart and rebuilding just because I'm OCD.
The stock chain does have a master link. Undo it and the new one goes right on. 10 minutes for a normal person and an hour for me just spinning the rear wheel and watching it lol

I'm using an H4 on my Brozz and it doesn't need a fan. the light is pretty good but not much more brightness when put on high beam. its way better than stock though. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QBYFVX6/ref=as_sl_pc_qf_sp_asin_til?tag=radpaul-20&linkCode=w00&linkId=2172cb792504a60079fedf6ef1e 54990&creativeASIN=B07QBYFVX6

I've got 2300 miles on my Brozz stock chain. I have a micrometer to measure chain stretch for bicycles. I wonder if there are real specs on motorcycle chains for stretch to measure.

Everything is a little difficult on the Bashan brozz or a Chinese bike in general. But that's what we get for buying cheaper bikes don't get me wrong the bike does come with a lot but it is also a little bit more difficult to find some parts like the rims and tires
