The spline fits but bend on arm is too far inward blocked by the engine casing.

sounds like it's time to break out the hammer and bench vice to make it fit

Funny, that is exactly what I did to the stock one after some trail riding to get it back to position.
Was looking for suggestions on which one people purchase that is an exact fit. |

I would up just bending it to fit in the end for now.
Attached are the pictures of the factory TBR7 shifter after I bent it back into place and IMS bent into position too. https://postimg.cc/gallery/cfCQpGV The IMS is definitely thicker. Also, the stock shifter has a long shaft with a bolt that catches in a groove, where the IMS just pressure tightens on the end of the shaft. Anybody have a link for a shifter that fits without bending it and has the proper shaft fit? |
