The one thing that is guaranteed to last is usually the engine, although there are still the occasional QC rejects that got missed from time to time, usually in the form of a valve head breaking off of the stem - seen 3 or 4 of those on here in the last few years.
I'm not really worried about the engine myself as I have a year warranty on it.
