PZ30 Jets

Here is the problem I am running into... This is the carb I Bought
https://www.amazon.com/MYK-Carburetor-Mikuni-Go-kart-JetMoto/dp/B07HJBV5WZ/ref=as_li_ss_tl?keywords=vm26+mikuni&qid=158223365 6&sr=8-4&linkCode=sl1&tag=moto044b-20&linkId=322271a0387691bbcf88966ad5d28111&languag e=en_US
It came with 33 Pilot jet and 103 Main that is pictured... I cant find a pilot jet with shaft as long as this one no where and it looks to be Keihin jets by logo
I want to go 40 and 110
can I run the shorter shaft pilots??? I am stumped

First, that link is to a VM26 30mm carburetor not a PZ30. Understand these carburetors are clones and often mixed pieces Mikuni carburetors using Keihin style jets so you can't always go by names in the end. The star symbol on those jets does not denote Keihin but a large manufacturer of jets because it appears on many different styles. Indeed that is an unusual pilot I have not seen. The main jet appears to be a Mikuni or Keihin clone HEX head jet you may be able to find commonly on amazon. With jets, pictures with exact measurements and thread pitch is the game. The pilot best chance of finding them is searching on Ali Express check ebay too. Guess you could try other styles, what do you have to lose? but generally that long end tightens against a fuel passage.

The quickest and cheapest solution may be to return that carb to amazon and get one with more standard style jets.

The 3 fuel bowl screws disagree with that statement. VM26 clones should be 4 bowl screws, PZ30 are 3 as seen on that carburetor.

What you have there is a PZ30 clone with a unique pilot jet.

Solution is to return the carburetor and order another one form another seller.

The downside is, currently, the "Brand" that most people order that does come with the right style of jets is currently sold out and not listed on Amazon.

LOL...... I stand corrected. Shows you the world of chinese carburetors, you can't always go by the names or the pictures everything has to be verified. I know the VM26 looks a lot like the PZ30 but I have never worked on a VM26.

Might be able to contact a seller on Amazon or ebay by messaging and confirm the style of jets they use but sometimes that doesn't work either as I have had sellers who don't know. Once I had to send a picture so he would confirm a return when the jets weren't as the pictures described.

I have the carb listed in your link and need a pilot (slow) jet for it can you help me out with a link for the correct one on amazon or anywhere else if not on there.

Mine came with a 100 main and a 20 pilot and i read that a 27.5 pilot works best.

My elevation is 1000ft and the bike is stock so if im wrong on my numbers please set me straight.

You need to figure out which one you have. There are two possibilities, and the difference comes down to the tip diameter.

It will either be a vm28/486 which has a 2mm tip diameter
https://www.jetsrus.com/a_jets_by_ca...-486_pilot.htm
OR
It will be a N224.103 which has a 2.5mm tip diameter.
https://www.jetsrus.com/a_jets_by_ca...-103_pilot.htm

I can't say which it will be because it has been both.

As far as size. 25 or 27.5 is what generally works for most people.
