Also, I did some riding last weekend in some seriously muddy and wet conditions. Should I be concerned with wet mud going thru pod filter?

I use a 2 stage Oiled foam pod filter on my Hawk. I never had any issues with mud or water. I have some off brand foam filter but most on here will use Uni Filters you ca pick up on Amazon.
