2013 Tao tao 250 ATV, No spark

So heres the deal, I received a Tao Tao 250 atv that does not run from my father-in-law. After messing with it I found out that it does not have spark, among other things. I ordered a new electrical components kit from amazon. I have replaced the Coil and the CDI box. Still no spark. New spark plug, still nothing. So, I removed the side cover of the engine to get to the stator. After some research online to figure out what the reading were suppose to be on my mulitmeter. I tested the stator, and it think its bad.

It is an 8 pole stator.

One wire (black with red tracer) has continuity to ground 276 ohms.

Another wire (yellow) has no continuity to either wire or ground.

Lastly, a (pink) wire has no continuity to either wire or ground.

Concluding I believe the stator is bad.

Secondly, I cannot find a new stator on amazon that looks similar or close to it.

Attached are pictures of the stator and some rubbed wires I found.

All info and responses are welcome.

If i knew how to add pictures it would make this a better thread. Sorry :(

Had similar problems with a TAO go cart. The CDI ignition module has a kill switch connector to a wire that was cut and a normally open momentary contact was inserted in line.

I can not find the schematic, sorry.

Just disconnecting this will let you know if it is the kill switch causing the problem.
