Just placed my order for the Venom Ghost (Mod List)

So I'm going through the list of items I've collected for the big event:

36 tooth JTR sprocket,

Cyzctem motorcycle cover,

NGK iridium spark plug,

brake clean for the rotors etc,

1 qt of Castrol Power 1 10W-40 4T,

Valvoline 80W-90 gear oil for oiling my chain,

EGR block off plate from Ebay for the SAI,

Vibratite red/blue Threadlocker,

428 x 136 O-ring gold motorcycle chain for the new sprocket,

Motion-pro cable luber,

PJ1 Cable Lube and a set of 0.04 - 0.88mm feeler gauge for valves,

SaferCCTV 10pcs carb main jets,

ABN Chain breaker and riveter.

My day one plan is oil change, sprocket/chain change, spark plug change, clean rotors/brake pads, lube cables

soon after: decat the exhaust, tune carb, SpeedoDRD H1, Exhaust wrap, Oil cooler

once I feel comfortable: adjust valves

I need the info on the proper K&N for the stock carb so I can order it and have it ready is there anything I should delay until the bike is more broken in or are these mods fine for day one? I'm a major tinkerer so I love this stuff but if I should wait I will. Should I get pilot jets or will the stock be fine with these mods? Anything else I forgot?

Any estimate on what main jet I should try with these mods?

Thanks so much everyone! this is my little list I compiled for this bike with as much info I could find around for it and the X22R since they share an engine

Adjust the valves while assembling the bike ,no need to wait as they will be too tight and leaking when you get the bike and will cause running issues .

Recently did my valves on my ghost and set both intake and exhaust to .005 and it taps nicely now with no noticeable performance loss. Valves on these motors are super tight from the factory and I ran around 1000 miles before doing valves, although I wouldn't recommend it in retrospect. Carb is a PZ30 pumper so it should be good with just a main jet and adjusting the air mixture screw if you only do intake/exhaust mods for now.

Is that 0.005 or 0.05? I may have bought the wrong size feeler gauge for my purposes if that is the case :/

Should be .005 inches or around .127mm. .05 inch would be nearly 1.27mm

That link Gbp1 posted is the exact one I have as well. I also got some "Vacuum plugs" from Autozone few bucks for a pack with multiple sizes so you can plug the other end of the SAI
